It was a back and forth game against the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Angels on Monday night. The Indians battled back in the top of the 9th inning to take a 4-2 lead before Torii Hunter hit a grandslam to give the Angels the lead. Hunter had given the Angels the lead in the bottom of the 8th inning with a solo homerun as well.
You have to give the Indians credit for scoring three runs in the top of the 9th inning off of Angels closer Francisco Rodriguez. Victor Martinez doubled Asdrubal Cabrera and then Jhonny Peralta doubled that scored David Dellucci. Casey Blake then singled and scored Ryan Garko.
Those three runs were not enough however as Hunter hit a walk off granslam off of Joe Borowski who picked up the loss. Bad time to blow a save for Borowski…
