Indians outfielder Trevor Crowe has undergone right shoulder surgery and will be sidelined for at least four months. Crowe had the operation on his shoulder Wednesday at New York's Hospital for Special Surgery, the Indians said. The 27-year-old will return to Cleveland on Saturday to begin rehabilitation.

It's that time of year again. The grass is fresh and hope springs eternal for Cleveland Indians fans at the start of what promises to be an exciting transitional year for the team. This year the Indians open the season at home in Progressive Field against their central division rival Chicago White Sox on April 1. Tickets for the home game are sold out at the box office and through Ticketmaster for the 18th consecutive year. There are plenty available, though, for last-minute fans in the secondary market.

With the 2011 Cleveland Indians season just around the corner fans are gearing up for an exciting season. The team is already looking great in spring training so tickets are flying out of the box office. As any Clevelander and Indians fan knows, going to the baseball game is only half of the day. Once the game is over, we always head over to a nearby sports bar for a drink and a bite to eat to celebrate the win, or cry over the loss, with at least 100 of our newest best friends and fellow fans.

Jose Flores was sent back to the Cleveland Indians as the Seattle Mariners trim down their spring training roster. Flores was the second player selected in the 2010 Rule 5 Draft, and it potentially could have supplied the Mariners with a young pitcher heading into the 2011 season. It seems, though, that Flores wasn't exactly what the team was hoping for, and had to be returned to Cleveland .
